What is the discipline policy?
Children are encouraged to discuss their feelings with the teacher and peers. No physical punishment is allowed by anyone on the premises. The talk it out or cooling down method is used by Learning Station Childcare.
Are parent volunteers allowed?
Yes, parent volunteers are always welcomed. All volunteers must have a current background check on file. Background check fees will be paid for by the applicant. Please make arrangements in advance to ensure that the daily learning curriculum is not disrupted.
What is the maximum number of children you can take care of at once?
Currently we are licensed to care for 8 children on site. 4 of which may be under 2 years.
Are there discounts for part time care?
Learning Station Childcare offers flexible options including part-time and drop-in care, in addition to full-time enrollment. Sibling discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled. Please see our tuition page for current rates.
Is the center open year round?
Yes the center is open year round. You will receive a list of days that the center is closed when enrolling your child. You will be notified of any staff vacation atleast 2 weeks in advance when possible. In cases of inclement weather we will follow local school closings.
How do I register my child?
Please contact us to make an appointment with the center, at that time an enrollment package will be provided to you.
