Answers You Need

Starting childcare is a big transition.

To help infants feel comfortable and supported during this time, we’ve outlined our feeding and sleep expectations and how families can help make the transition smoother.

What is the maximum number of children you can take care of at once?

We are  licensed to care for 8 children on site. 4 of which may be under 2.

What is the discipline policy?

Children are encouraged to discuss their feelings with the teacher and peers. No physical punishment is allowed by anyone on the premises.  The talk it out or cooling down method is used by  Learning Station Childcare.

Is the center open year round?

Yes the center is open year round. You will receive a list of days that the center is closed when enrolling your child. You will be notified of any staff vacation atleast 2 weeks in advance when possible. In cases of inclement weather we will follow local school closings.

How is enrollment decided?

Learning Station Childcare strives to create a calm, consistent, and supportive environment for children. Because of this, enrollment is based on mutual fit. Families are encouraged to tour, ask questions, and ensure the program aligns with their needs before enrolling. Learning Station Childcare reserves the right to decline enrollment when necessary to protect the learning environment.

Are there discounts for part time care?

Learning Station Childcare offers flexible options including part-time and drop-in care, in addition to full-time enrollment. Sibling discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled. Please see our tuition page for current rates.

How do I register my child?

Please contact us to make an appointment with the center, at that time an enrollment package will be provided to you.
